Honeymoon Planner Spreadsheet
Your entire honeymoon. One beautiful system.
Most honeymoon templates are a prettier packing list. This one runs the whole thing — from "we have no idea where to go" to the photobook you order when you get home.
Dream. Compare. Choose. Budget. Save. Book. Pay. Plan. Reserve. Pack. Travel. Spend. Remember.
Thirty-two connected tabs, and one dashboard that reads all of them.
- FIND YOUR PERFECT HONEYMOON — THE DESTINATION MATCH CALCULATOR
Most couples buy a honeymoon planner before they have chosen the honeymoon.
Weight twelve things by how much they actually matter to you — romance, beaches, food, nightlife, adventure, relaxation, culture, weather, travel time, affordability, luxury, ease of travel. Then score each place you're considering out of five.
The workbook ranks them against YOUR priorities: Santorini 88% Your best match on your own priorities Maui 87% Very strong — a real contender Bali 87% Very strong — a real contender Lisbon 85% Strong
Push food to 5 and nightlife to 0 and the ranking changes to match. Score only seven of the twelve and it says so, instead of quietly ranking a half-formed opinion against a complete one.
It will sometimes disagree with you. That is the point.
- THE HONEYMOON COMMAND CENTER
One screen that answers: where do we stand? Where you're going, days until you leave, nights away Planning progress, booking progress, packing progress Total budget, committed, paid so far, still owed Spent on the trip, left to spend, saved so far, savings goal met Flights, hotel, transfers, insurance, activities — booked or not
Nothing on it is typed. All of it works itself out from the tabs behind it.
- IT TELLS YOU WHAT NEEDS YOU, BEFORE YOU GO LOOKING Payments past their due date Payments due inside your urgent window Essential things still not booked Documents that expire too close to the trip Reservations not confirmed Must-do experiences that still need booking Essentials not packed yet Checklist tasks past their date
Each one is a number on your dashboard. You never have to remember to check.
- NEVER MISS A HONEYMOON PAYMENTA honeymoon is not bought once. It is a deposit in March, a balance in August, and a final payment two weeks before you fly.
So the workbook keeps them separate. Booking Tracker records what a thing COSTS — what you have promised to pay. Payment Schedule records money LEAVING, one deposit and one balance at a time. Everything else works itself out: Paid so far · Still owed · Next payment due "PAYMENT OVERDUE by 6 days" "Payment due in 9 days" "Balance of $225 still to pay" "Booked and paid in full"A payment plan tracks itself, and you can never count the same money twice.
- KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOUR HONEYMOON MONEY IS GOING
Not budget versus actual. Planned, committed, paid, spent there, actual, left, percentage used and share of the total — by category.
Plus budget used, cost per day, cost per person, and what falls due in the next thirty days. And once you're away, a spending pace panel that tells you whether you're on track, in a sentence.
- YOUR HONEYMOON COUNTDOWN 90 days Book the big things — flights, hotel, the excursions that sell out 60 days Passports, visas, insurance, vaccinations 30 days Transfers, transport, restaurant reservations 14 days Start packing, confirm everything, sort the money 7 days Confirm reservations, download what you'll need offline 2 days Check in, save boarding passes, charge everything
Each stage moves itself between Upcoming, Coming up, Due soon, Overdue and Complete — by reading your actual checklist, not by guessing.
- PACK WITHOUT THE PANIC
Three lists, not one giant one: Partner 1, Partner 2, and the shared bag for the things only one of you needs to remember. Mark what's Essential and the dashboard keeps count of what isn't packed yet — the ones you'd notice at the airport.
- HONEYMOON QUICK REFERENCE
One page you print or screenshot before you fly. Hotel, confirmation numbers, both transfers, the insurer, your emergency contacts and every timed reservation — all pulled from what you already entered. Nothing to retype.
- AND THE ROMANTIC PARTIt is a honeymoon, not a business trip. There is a Vision tab for agreeing what the trip is even for, a wishlist for the reasons you're going rather than the logistics, and a Special Moments tab for the surprises.------------------------------------------------------------THE 32 TABS------------------------------------------------------------DREAMING Start Here · Honeymoon Vision

No. It works free in Google Sheets and there's a one-click link in your guide. An Excel version is included if you'd rather use that.
WE HAVEN'T CHOSEN A DESTINATION YET.
Then you've bought it at exactly the right moment. The Destination Match calculator is the first thing you'll use.
IS 32 TABS TOO MUCH?
You never open more than a few at a time. The Quick Start Checklist walks you through them in the order a honeymoon actually happens, and the Start Here tab gets you going in twenty minutes.
DO I HAVE TO BUILD ANY FORMULAS?
None. You type in the white cells and everything shaded calculates itself. Every tab is protected so you can't overwrite a formula by accident — there's no password, and you can unprotect any tab to see how it works.
DOES IT BOOK ANYTHING, OR SEND REMINDERS?
No, and that's deliberate. It doesn't email anyone, book anything, look up live prices or sync with your calendar. It holds the picture of your trip that a booking site can't.
DOES IT CONVERT CURRENCY?
It converts your spending using a rate YOU type into Settings. That's a planning estimate, not a live rate — re-check it the week you travel.
CAN WE BOTH USE IT?
Yes. Upload it to Google Sheets and share it. There are separate packing lists for each of you and a "planned by" column on Special Moments. One honest warning: if you're keeping a surprise from your partner, keep it in your own copy — hiding a tab is not privacy.
WILL IT TELL ME IF MY PASSPORT IS VALID?
It checks the expiry date you enter against the date you get home and a buffer you choose, and flags it. It does not know the rule for where you're going. Entry rules, visas, passport validity and health requirements vary by destination, nationality, itinerary and date, and they change — always check the official source for your own nationality and route.
CAN I USE IT FOR A TRIP THAT ISN'T A HONEYMOON?
Yes. Nothing in it stops you planning an anniversary trip, a big holiday or a destination wedding the same way.------------------------------------------------------------This is a digital download — no physical product will be shipped.
